Biography
Mioche and Rosie are both from Pignon, a small northern town of Haiti. They have two children, Darcy and Miolie. Mioche is the founder and director of Friends of Christ Haitian Ministry (FCHM), their local organization to impact lives for the kingdom. The Rocks are also affiliates with New Mission Systems International, a Florida based mission agency. Mioche attended Minnesota Bible College, presently Crossroad College, in Rochester, MN and graduated there in May 2001 with a B.A in Pastoral Leadership and a B.S Biblical Studies and Theology with Minors in Missions and Media in Ministry. Later on he went to Lincoln Christian College and Seminary, presently Lincoln Christian University where he received a Master of Arts in Ministry with focus on Church Planting/Church Development. With their ministry team, the Rocks have planted two Christian churches, one in the village of Bouyaha and one in the city of Pignon. They also have established a Christian school in the village where 268 children are getting an education. The Rocks have also opened the first Christian radio station in the town of Pignon broadcasting the Good News to more than 300.000 people daily. They have also helped villagers with clean drinking water through well digging and improve the local economy through micro finance loans to help mothers start small businesses to take care of their families. They have also developed an active sport ministry as an outreach to the youths of the community to come to church and stay out of drug and alcohol. They are also working on a sponsorship program to help some youths go to college or attend a technical school for 2-3 years and return to serve the ministry, start their own businesses and serve their community.
